Intellecy Inc.

San Diego, California — est. 2015

Intellecy is a one-person engineering company. The work spans software, hardware, and the occasional research paper — driven by a stubborn curiosity for how things actually work and a low tolerance for tools that don't.

The roots are in industrial electronics and software — systems that measure, transform, and make sense of data. That thread runs through everything Intellecy builds, whether it's GPS tracks from a search dog in the field, water quality readings from a home sensor, MIDI signals between instruments, or stress patterns in a finite element mesh. Different domains, same question: what does the data actually tell you?

SAR K9 work is a major driving force. The founder is an active handler, working with his dog Lars in real terrain under real conditions. That experience — poor signal, high stakes, no room for flaky tools — shaped Lokate and continues to set the bar for everything else. But it's one expression of a broader pattern: geospatial systems, music notation, simulation, and the challenge of turning large, messy datasets into something a person can reason about.

The company is intentionally small. No layers, no roadmap theater. If something ships, it's because it was built carefully and tested in the conditions it was made for. If it hasn't shipped yet, it's still being thought through.
