The Intellecy Certification Programs offers several ways to learn about Intellecy products, services and channel support. The courses are intended to help you develop your knowledge of our products and services and further develop your skills to help you grow your business.

Certification Training is at no charge for approved Sales Channel Partners and Smart Home Pros (Tech Integrator & Plumbers Pro).

Training is conducted for your team at the Intellecy Training Center in San Diego CA, online, at your location or at a location near you.

Each attendee is responsible for their travel and lodging (see Training FAQ below for more information).

Training Overview

Service Certification is required for Intellecy Smart Home Pros or Value Added Resellers.
Course held in San Diego, CA at the Intellecy Training Center, via webinar, at your site, or a location near you.
Sessions are offered throughout the year.Register early for the sessions you wish to attend as space is limited.

Training FAQ

Is attendance at any of these courses mandatory for becoming a VAR or Smart Home Pro?
A requirement to become a Certified Intellecy Smart Home Pro or Value-Added Reseller is the completion of the Certification course. 

Product Resellers are encouraged to have all their sales staff attend one of the Product Orientation training sessions conducted online.

What can I expect to receive before my scheduled course?

An email confirmation will be sent within 48 hours confirming registration.

Email confirmation will include course outline. If attending course in San Diego we’ll include maps, hotel list and welcome packet.

Course materials will be distributed at training.

Can I cancel my attendance to a training course?

You can cancel your registration from a training course being held in San Diego or via webinar up to 48 hours before the course begins, please contact the account support team by email at partner@intellecy.com.

Training courses being held at your location or at a pre-arranged location near you, may not be cancelled after confirmation.

Registrants to training with fees who cancel prior to confirmation can apply payment to a future course.

Note: Training conducted in San Diego or online do not have fees.

What is the Intellecy training course cancellation policy?

Every attempt is made to conduct a training course as scheduled. However, occasionally we may need to cancel a scheduled course. Intellecy reserves the right to cancel a web-based course 1 business day prior to the start day of the course.

Registrants of any course that Intellecy cancels will automatically be registered in the next available course unless you email us at partner@intellecy.com to request a different course. Intellecy is NOT liable for any customer expenses incurred prior to course cancellation.

Intellecy will not cancel an on-site course after it has been confirmed.

Will the training courses include hands-on?

Yes. All the Certification and Training courses include hands-on training to enhance the learning experience.

What is the dress code?

Dress casually and comfortably or according to your company’s dress code. We will be kneeling and bending for portions of the training and the heating and air conditioning fluctuates so dress accordingly.

May I pre-register for training courses that have fees without immediate payment?

Yes. Intellecy allows pre-registrations for fee-based courses without payment but you are not confirmed until full payment is received.

Because your registration is not confirmed until payment is received, your seat in the course may be given to another paying registrant as space is limited. 

Are operator credits available for this class?

Some states will grant operator credits. We will need the state information on where to send course completion materials.
